OSRAM SYLVANIA announces OCTRON 800 XV ECOLOGIC eXtended Value T8 fluorescent lamps designed to reduce the amount of triphosphor used in a premium T8 lamp addressing the rare earth mineral crisis.
These lamps meet today’s lighting needs of high efficiency, long life and superior color rendition. With high initial lumens, 94 percent lumen maintenance and an average rated life of up to 42,000 hours on 12 hours per start, these lamps ensure light levels will be maintained for a very long time. A color rendering index (CRI) of up to 83 supports applications where lighting color quality is important.
